Emma is the youngest member of our team. Leaving school in 2018 to start a career in hairdressing, she soon realised it wasn’t her true calling.
After coming across Jumpstart on social media, she reached out to enquire whether there could be a role for her within the company. We are delighted to have taken Emma on as an apprentice in New Business Sales, where she has impressed us with the enthusiasm with which she embraced her new role and responsibilities.
Emma is usually bobbing along to music or munching on food – as one of 6 siblings, you’ve got to fight for your place at the dinner table!
Anna originally hails from Belfast, and moved to Edinburgh 6 years ago to study at University.
She graduated in 2018 with an Honours degree in marketing having thoroughly enjoyed learning all about digital marketing and social media. Anna then went on working in the retail and hospitality sectors, honing her skills in both sales and customer service.
Anna regularly goes back to Northern Ireland, to visit family and stock up on her favourite Irish foods – Tayto crisps and soda bread.
Anna is also a keen dancer and has appeared in two versions of Strictly Come Dancing events!
Jennifer graduated with a Business Management Honours Degree, which she immediately put to good use, working in London for three years as a Property Manager.
Missing the drizzle-fed green green grass of home, she moved back up to Edinburgh, working in the relocations team of travel tech company Skyscanner, before joining Jumpstart as client retention manager.
Jennifer is the proud mother of adorable Pugalier Marley (that’s a cross between a Pug and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in case you were wondering). When not out and about walking Marley down the beach, you will probably find Jennifer enjoying a glass prosecco in town.
Amy is an sales leader with extensive experience working in software, professional training & the coaching of inside sales teams.
She brings to Jumpstart her impressive set of skills in negotiation, sales, customer relationship management (CRM), customer satisfaction and sales operations.
Amy has worked in the UK and internationally, and now, as Jumpstart’s Inside Sales Manager, she leads and supports a busy team, inspiring them to give their best in finding opportunities and achieving great outcomes.
Prior to joining the Jumpstart team, Georgina worked as Partnership Manager at Funding Circle where she was responsible for driving new and existing business into the channel, and in turn contributing to the company moving from startup to IPO.
After 6 years in London, Georgina missed the green green grass of home, so she moved back to Scotland and joined Jumpstart as Partner Relationship Manager, where she is responsible for maintaining existing partnerships as well as developing new partner relationships.
A keen Lacrosse player, Georgina played for Canterbury (New Zealand) and her stick handling skills have already won her a place in a local Edinburgh Team. Next steps – The Olympics!
Innovation has always been at the heart of Chris’s career. His experience includes business development, operations, education and training. He has worked in financial services in the South East, specialising in renewable energy funding when the sector was still in its early days. Previous to that he served as Senior Operational Manager at Open Interactive, a technology-focused joint venture set up by Sky and its investors to create the set top box functionality that most of us now use on a daily basis. He has also taught Systems Thinking within the Bachelor of Commerce programme at the Australian RMIT University in Vietnam, and was a researcher to aid the introduction of a new bespoke green building standard, Lotus, into Vietnam.
Chris has worked for both rapidly growing startups and large multinationals, and understands the challenges that each can face. He is keen to apply this blend of finance expertise and experience with innovation-focused sectors to help his clients benefit from R&D tax relief and Patent Box.
His interests include trying to learn Japanese (and remembering it the next day!), following Ipswich Town (which can be challenging), and motorcycling (in nice weather only!).
