A manufacturer has won £1 million of new orders thanks to its commitment to delivering complex forgings and machined components.
Copper Alloys Ltd, which employs 30 people at its facility in Glendale Street, Burslem, has secured a string of contracts over the last 12 months with customers in the aerospace, defence, marine and petrochemical sectors.
The company’s recent growth has been supported by Jumpstart UK, which has worked to generate more than £100,000 of R&D tax relief over the last three years. And the firm made the decision to re-invest the money into the business – taking its turnover to around £6 million.
